How to be Happy

Life has two sides. It has a bright side and a dark one. You`ll be sad when you look at the dark side. You`ll be glad when you look at the brighter side.

A lady was known as an incurable grumbler. She constantly complained about everything. At last, her pastor thought he had found something about which she would be happy.

The pastor told her with a sweet smile, "You must be very happy Mary. Your potatoes are the finest in town." True they`re pretty good," she said with a frown. But i have one problem, what am i going to do when i need bad ones to feed the pigs."

Now here is a person who chose to look at the bright side of life. A woman was walking along a busy street, when two boys snatched away her bag. After the incident she said, "I thank God it was me that was robbed and not i that robbed. I thank God it was my money that was taken away and not my life."

What was her secret of being happy inspite of the unpleasant incident? She chose to look at the bright side of life. Instead of having a bad day because it rains, be glad for it means you don`t have to water the plants. Instead of grumbling for not having a Coca-Cola body, be glad for it means you have life.

Don`t be sad. God wants us to be happy. Choose to look at the bright side of life. "Rejoice in the Lord always and again i say rejoice."
