Food For Breakfast

I am a kind of person that did not eat food for breakfast but it is not good because according to the experts breakfast is the most needed meal. As you start your day you need some sort of energy and by eating breakfast you do things the whole day. Here are some food for breakfast that you can eat.

1. Apricot-Walnut Bars - Crisp and chewy, this bar is a good-for-you alternative to store-bought cereal bars. The secret ingredient – silken tofu – will give your day a protein-packed start.

2. Cranberry Pancakes - Start your day off right with these easy pancakes, packed with cranberry’s sour spike. One of you can make the coffee and heat the maple syrup while the other makes the pancakes. It’s instant relationship bliss.

3. Herb & Onion Frittata - This Italian-style omelet is delicious with just about any herb combination; we recommend parsley, dill, chervil or marjoram.

4. Wake-Up Smoothie - With a stash of berries in your freezer, you can jumpstart your day with this nutritious and tasty smoothie in just minutes. It provides vitamin C, fiber, potassium and soy protein.

5. Sweet Potato Hash with Black Forest Ham - Flavorful Black Forest ham subtly enriches the hash without taking over. Serve this alongside chicken or duck, or set a poached egg on top for a light meal on its own.

6. Cranberry Muesli - There may be as many versions of muesli as there are breakfast cereals, but this one’s modeled after the original Swiss wake-you-up – a combination of overnight-soaked grains, nuts, dried fruit and yogurt. Make it the night before and you’ll have breakfast ready when you are. This recipe can also be covered and refrigerated for up to one day.

7. Baked Apple-Cinnamon French Toast - This apple-cinnamon French toast is quick to assemble, but the best part about it is that you can make it the night before then finish in it the oven the next morning.
